I'm Sophia-- nice to see you here!
I am a designer focused on innovating apparel production processes. I love being "hands-on"-- whether it is fitting apparel, manipulating a pattern, or talking to customers about their needs-- and applying this real world knowledge in the "hands-off" setting of 3D virtual prototyping. As a technical designer, I consider it my vocation to create the best fitting clothes to effectively bring out citizens' best selves and allow them to focus on the things that matter most to them. An insatiable appetite for learning and staying curious has developed my versatility as a designer and my ability to push boundaries in the evolving fashion industry.
I'm currently an Associate Technical Designer at Primary Kids. I previously worked for Abercrombie & Fitch for Hollister Women's division. There, I worked on woven tops and shirting, skirts, denim, soft bottoms, sleep, swim, and graphic tops. Interested in connecting? Feel free to reach out through Linkedin or email.
