I worked on Hollister Women's Denim/Soft Bottoms from October 2021 - May 2022. I supported at the assistant level.

My primary accomplishment during this time frame was supporting my team with the first Hollister CLO 3D Instagram Takeover, "This or That" campaign  in Summer 2022 (see my 3D section of my portfolio). Another accomplishment was standardizing the shaping of our Super Skinny Franchise across low, medium, high and ultra high rises. I worked to standardize the leg shaping and rise angles for this package. I additionally gained great experience in managing and tracking fit consistency between our block fits in different fabrications through Excel.  Working on multiple bottoms patterns, I gained familiarity with pattern shapes and quirks in the bottoms world, such as back rise shapes, saddle shapes, yoke shapes, inseam differentials, and waistband contouring. Additionally, I expanded my knowledge of the peculiarities of jeans construction. Yoke seam handling, pocket scoop shapes, belt loop and back pocket symmetry, jacrons, J-stitch variations for different silhouettes and fabrics were a few topics I learned about.

In this role, I primarily measured samples, reviewed construction, tracked sample status, sent fit comments, conducted and advised on pattern revisions, and took notes and photos during fit sessions. Towards the end of my time on the team, I also helped to present during fits.  I daily communicated with overseas vendor partners on quality, grading, and production queries.
